The film will be released in theaters on the 2nd of December However, there will be an exclusive screening party at New York Comic Con's Empire Stage on October 7 at 7:15 p.m. Director Tommy Wirkola will be in the audience.

The film also features Emmy award-winning John Leguizamo (John Wick), Cam Gigandet (Without Remorse), Alex Hassell (Cowboy Bebop), and Alexis Louder (The Tomorrow War).
The ensemble in Violent Night is complete with Edi Patterson ( The Righteous Gemstones) and Beverly D'Angelo ( National Lampoon's Vacation franchise).
Directed by razor-edged Norwegian director Tommy Wirkola ( Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Dead Snow franchise), Violent Night is produced by 87North's Kelly McCormick David Leitch and Guy Danella.
The screenplay's original script was written by Pat Casey & Josh Miller, the writers of Sonic the Hedgehog. Its producer executive is Marc S. Fischer. Universal Pictures will release the film across all territories.
Violent Night is Rated R for bloody strong violence as well as language throughout, and some sexual references.
