Hi ... How are you doing? Hope you had a good rest yesterday. I am happy to see that you are putting lot of effort in the restaurant. Thank you for your contribution. Today we are meeting to discuss about some of the important issues that I have noticed in our restaurant.
Over the last few weeks, i have noticed that

Over last few weeks, I have noticed that……alot of times when i walk past, i seen lots of uncooked meat are being left out sitting in the kitchen area. it appears to have sitting out for quite sometime. I would like you to actually take note that its quite unhygenic to put it outside for too long as bacteria will be stuck on the meat thus making it spoil. So i would like to address this issue like if youre not using the meat pls put it back inside the freezer or u can also put timer so u wont forget about it.

It would be beneficial for yoou if you start taking note of these areas and work on them. i see you as an important part of the team would like you to know how to talk about your issues and feedback to the team and also how to improve your english language as those are not your strong points, so feel free to say out how you feel.
Mainly is because i want everyone in my company to be able to communicate freely and say out their thoughts.

1. There are mainly 2 problems that i see that you could not handle it well which are actually quite hard to read and say out your thoughts.

a) Language barrier as they are not local , english not ur first language.
b) Lack of attention. As training is often rushed and some new employees are put right into the job without training if it is a busy day. Shows how much employees are being attended for their needs and thoughts.

2. So basically for the language barrier i noticed that you dont rlly speak out talk alot esp to your colleague and staff. So dont worry or stress about it as there are few ways around it. i would like you to take up english lessons to upskills yourself, putting up visual signage around the company to communicate more visually than verbally. Set up bonding session with them to understand them and find an effective way to communicate.

2) During lunch break, talk to them about their thoughts, maybe introduce them to feedback to the team leader. Set up a bonding session, listen to their needs and what they want to do. Reward them as being appreciative of their work.

3) There are 3 ways of coaching, so i can help u to overcome ur weakness and improve it tgt.

a) fce to face coaching, easier talk to , since its 1 to 1 , feel free to say out ur thoughts without being stress.

b) On the job training. Coaching on how to do things that u dotn understand and explain it to u so that u will be able to undestand it.

c) U can also use peer feedback. as we would like u to have the opportunity to express concerns and ideas in the workplace,

4) Conduct regular survey to know whether the employees are communicating effectively. To enable constructive feedback and as well as to see if the employees have any problems or issues.

See if the employees are reading the content, whether the employees know what to do and understand the assignment told. Measure the progress of the work. Too see if employees are performing better at work instead of being the same or worse. This shows that the method is effective. Asking employees to repeat the verbal instructions.

5) Importance and purpose of communication is
communication can spread ideas throughout the work environment, brings problems to the forefront, lessens tension in the workplace and can result in friendships with co-workers

The moment the purpose of communication is clear, it brings more visibility to the achievements reaped from these communications and encourage them to communicate effectively.
Know whats our goal and problems that we are facing, able to tackle it before it escalate. Say out ur thoughts and feelings so that there wont be confusion and conflict as well.

5b) Choose the words. Tell the employee that
communication is more effective when words are chosen carefully. Tell him he should be direct with co-workers and managers when communicating but not overly blunt. For example, if someone talks too much during work, the employee should say "John, can you calm down a little?
I'm having a difficult time completing my work."
so u are not being too blunt and rough with him. instead let him understand u and that u have smth to do. At the same time, there wont be conflict if words are choose wisely. wont agitate or anger the other party/.
