The assignment asks you to contrast the way Brueghel chose to address the story of Icarus with the way Byron chose to address the story of Prometheus. Ask yourself, "Out of the entire story of Icarus, what did Brueghel choose to include in his painting? What did he choose to leave out?" Then ask, "Why would he make those choices? What is he trying to tell people who look at his painting?" From that, hopefully you've come up with the "What Brueghel did with the story" and the "message he wants to convey" parts of your point sentence. Then ask those same questions about Byron's poem and the story of Prometheus. Once you have those things, you're basically arguing something like this:
Brueghel focuses on such-and-such aspect of the story of Icarus to convey to his audience such-and-such message, whereas Byron focuses on such-and-such aspect of Prometheus to convey to his audience such-and-such message.
