Gambling Systems
I'd like to begin immediately by sharing a bit about me. I was employed in Las Vegas casinos for over 10 years. At times, I was employed as a boxman, dealer floorman, pit boss as well as the assistant casino manager. I've seen almost every type of system player and casino game. It is simple to spot system players. They don't seem like having as much fun as gamblers who play recreationally. They take their work seriously and are extremely meticulous about their work. Some will even try to hide or conceal their activities so that their family and friends don't get on. This is quite funny. It's funny because the house is a fan of system players. Why? Because there aren't any systems which can defeat casino games. There are ways to gamble intelligently and remain ahead of the game, however, it's not so much a strategy as it is a process and discipline. More about that later. Let me deal with three games that appear to be the most popular Blackjack, craps, and roulette.

Blackjack is the one casino game in which you can actually make decisions about your game. This includes betting as well as the actual play. You can decide whether you'd like to hit, or not, split, double down or even do nothing. This gives you some control over the outcome in the game. The primary advantage the dealer has over the player is that the dealer is able to break out his hands (go over 21) first. The dealer doesn't have to play a hand when all players have busted their hands. Now that is a huge benefit. Card counting is the sole blackjack system worthy of noting. By counting cards, the player remains aware of the number of cards already dealt, or more accurately the number of cards that remain in the deck, the amount of tens that have been exposed, and in a lesser degree as well, the number of smaller cards that have been played, as well as the amount of aces left in the deck. If there is a large number of tens remaining in the deck, and there are fewer (maybe less than half the deck) cards remaining, the deck is said to be rich. free to play is a huge perk for the player particularly if there are a lot of aces. The chances of obtaining blackjack increases with a well-stocked deck. The player can also count to see the remaining cards and decide whether he will play his hand in a certain way. This is a great method. It could give the player an advantage or maybe at least level the playing field. This is true, in fact! It does! It's worth noting that the dealer's chances of being able to get a blackjack have been boosted. When I first started learning about the art of counting cards, it was a thrill. This was the chance to make significant cash. This was sensible, and card counting is theoretically the only way to gain an advantage. Why can't we use card counting to make money in blackjack? The answer is easy. Counters for cards are easy to recognize. You see, any floor manager or pit boss is aware of how to count cards (at least they should to some degree). Also, games online are able to determine whether the deck is wealthy and if someone is increasing their bets accordingly. Three things that the house could do if it detects a counter. Simply ignore it and let the game continue and watch what happens. You can easily inform the player that they are not allowed to play at their casino. They have the right to do so according to the gaming commission's rules. They also have the option of telling the dealer to play one or two hands, and then shuffle. This eliminates any benefit that a counter might possess. This is how I dealt with counters when I was playing in the pits. I can remember one incident that I saw an attractive young lady walk into the arena and she was very focused and serious. Something instantly told me to follow her game. I was exhausted from trying to keep my distance! She was actually the only player in the game, and I observed. She increased her stake immediately after the deck became wealthy. I smiled at the dealer, and I asked her to move my deck. It was hilarious. The player actually shouted, "Hey!" I smiled, and then went off to instruct the dealer that he deal two hands and then shuffle. The player moved on with her money, and probably would have the same fate no matter where she went. Over-rated is a thing. You will only be able to win the casino if you can control your money.

Let's take a look at roulette systems. It's a fun game, therefore I will not be spending too much time. There is no way of knowing what will happen to the little white ball on a roulette wheel. I've seen people rummaging on notepads and scribbling down God knows what, thinking that this will help them to know what ball will land the next. Think about it...the wheel doesn't spin at a constant rate. The dealer does not have the ball spinning with the exact same force or at the exact same point each time. This is just random. When the dealer takes the ball from the wheel, he will give it a little push to continue spinning, hence the non-constant spinning speed. It's absurd to suppose that the previous spin might affect the ball's position. Let's say for instance that 5 has hit twice in a row. What are the odds of 5 coming back on the very next spin will be? The odds of 5 once again winning the jackpot are 37-1 my dear friend. The probability of any number hitting at any time is always 37 - 1 no matter what happened in the preceding spin(s). Many players don't see this. When you hit a certain number and you are payed 37-1. You get paid 35 -1 ! You're already defeated! Roulette is the one game with an opportunity of beating. You can be lucky enough to win the game, but that is luck. No system can ensure a win. It's all random. According to Einstein stated, "The only way to beat a roulette game is to take the game away." He is right. Never pay anyone who claims they're trying to sell you a system of roulette. They're all scams, period!

We've dealt with roulette and blackjack. Now we have to take on craps. Craps is a complex game that offers a myriad of betting possibilities. I'm not going to look into betting systems because that's not what I'm trying explain here. blog link am worried about the person who believes or tries to sell the notion that he can control the roll of the dice. Such a player will set the dice in a particular manner, throw them in a certain way and assert that they can control how the dice will roll. Do you really need to explain more? A craps table can be found anywhere between 8 - 10 feet long, with a solid surface under the layout of felt. The dice bounce off and bounce back off the table at totally random angles and speeds. There is not a person in the world that can be in control of that sort of speed. Even the master magicians of Vegas can't perform it! It's not something you've ever witnessed. Absolutely not.

I'd like to conclude that the only valid system I have ever seen is one that minimizes loss and maximizes winnings. It is a money management system that actually takes some discipline to use. This system is applicable to every game, but not poker. I have seen players who use this method to keep their heads up, every day. However, it's really a money management technique, not an entire method. In my next article, I'll discuss this.
