Henrik Tornqvist, Iron Gate co-founder Henrik Tornqvist, Iron Gate's cofounder, said to Engadget that "we're doing our best." "It has been quite hectic at Iron Gate since we launched."
Tornqvist and co-founder of the studio Richard Svensson are looking to hire a few more people including an QA manager to handle the influx of bug-related reports from the millions of beta testers. Otherwise, it's getting assistance from Coffee Stain Publishing - the team behind Goat Simulator, a veritable grandpa of viral video games.
Svensson began working on Valheim in 2017 as an extra-curricular venture. He and Tornqvist were co-workers at Swedish studio Pieces Interactive. But, Svensson left the company to focus on Valheim in 2018.
