Watch Black Adam Online: Digital Release Date Announced
Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam gets a surprising digital release date that's much earlier than fans of DCU fans would have expected.

The long-gestating DC Studios epic has been on the screens for just one month and hasn't done anything but light the world on fire. The film was released to less-than-stellar reviews and has earned just 366 million in box-office revenue (less than Black Panther: Wakanda Forever did in two weeks).

Star of Black Adam Dwayne Johnson has remained outspoken about the film's reception and has come to the film's defense several times since its October release .

But now, not long after the film's first release it appears Black Adam is coming home earlier than people might have believed.

Black Adam Gets a streaming date
A Warner Bros. (WB) press release announced that Black Adam would hit digital storefronts on November 22 just 31 days following its theatrical debut.

Digital launches are the most short theatrical exclusive time frame for any widely-released DCU film.

This film is also expected to get a full 4K Blu-ray launch, just after the start of the new year, which begins on January 3, 2023.

The digital version and Blu-ray disc are packed with special features, however the specifics of those remain unclear as of now. But, from the information provided by WB it seems audiences will receive a documentary about the background of Dwayne Johnson's DC character as well as the Justice Society of America, an in-depth look at the various costumes used in the film, and a look at the style of Black Adam's fictional nation, Kahndaq.

What is the reason Black Adam Hitting Digital so Quickly?

It must be disappointing for WB to see their big Fall DC film fail the way it did. After getting a lot of an early success with Matt Reeves' The Batman The Batman, it was hoped the studio could benefit from the momentum and finish 2022 with another screamer.

But that wasn't the case. Black Adam sort of came and went without much ado, with the exception from the crew and cast who were promoting the film. It appears that one of the only things that was talked about in the film was that it was that Henry Cavill's Superman.

This is the reason the Dwayne Johnson-directed blockbuster is cutting losses and making its debut on digital in the earliest time possible. This move shows that WB is trying to squeeze the most juice from the Black Adam orange as they can.

Pushing this move any later could have led to the film being pushed further out of the conversation as it is. This way, the studio is giving the public as many options as it is possible to watch the film, so WB will begin to recover its investment.
