Your Impact: To assist a fast-paced and expanding data science team working on initiatives crucial to national security, we are looking for a data scientist with an entrepreneurial attitude. Tasks, obligations, and duties: Building statistical models, testing hypotheses, interpreting, summarising, visualising, and succinctly reporting on data findings are all expected of the data scientist. The Data Scientist will use quantitative and qualitative content analytics to conduct research on diverse data sources, including unstructured data. Using SQL and API interfaces, the Scientist will create and execute complicated database search queries across different databases. The Scientist will undertake web scraping and use a number of unstructured data processing techniques. To handle data, forecast scenarios, and offer advice, the Scientist will use automation and machine learning. The data scientist will work with team members in a highly technological setting and contribute to developing new analytical tools and packages across the company. The data scientist will be expected to get knowledgeable about and use cutting-edge technologies like AWS and Git. What You'll Need Is as Follows: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to or involving highly quantitative subjects (for example, statistics, mathematics, economics, or related field)
Strong programming skills in Python or R are required, as well as experience with data manipulation, analytic/business insight tools, and data visualisation. data scientist degree and salary information of SciPy stack or Tidyverse packages is also helpful, as is experience creating and running complex database search queries.
