Here’s to tell you the truth, I’ve honestly liked you since the start of year 8. Yeh, here we go, I’m admitting it. You’ve been the only one I’ve liked since, idk? 4 years. I wish I said this sooner, but its better late than never. You like Vic now, but my truth has to be said.

The time you liked me, or supposedly liked me, I always had to resist saying “yes” to all your ask out requests, I did it for my own sake. I made a promise to myself – I would never date anyone, unless they showed they cared for at least a month. Throughout that month, I would show I cared more about them. Now here’s the truth, I was going to ask you. You had been consistent for a month. I wrote you a note – the words “Will you go out with me” I was going to physically hand it to you the next day. I still have it in a cactus pot, feeling like it would bring me good luck. Ik. I’m a derp. But here was the problem; I took that note to school. And Vic had told me, you were dating. I had regretted my choices. I remember this day. The 23rd June. It was a Wednesday.

I realised I had left it to late, you and Vic were happy. There was nothing I could do. I just realised, that I had missed out on something; I thought I had under control. I had missed out, on a guy with a great sense of humour, a smile I just can’t help but smile at (that sounded really cringy didn’t it?)… you just seemed so perfect? I don’t know what more to say?

You like Vic now, and I understand. I would have said this much sooner. But I didn’t want to get in the way. To tell you the truth, I still like you, still have feelings for you. But, I guess they are nolonger the same as yours.

I love you josh, I wish I asked you sooner.
