Minecraft Hogwarts: how to Play This Cool Minecraft Harry Potter RPG Map

Looking for the Hogwarts map in Minecraft? You may recall the huge Harry Potter Minecraft map mod that was released as an playable alpha version earlier in the year. The mod recreates the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a huge map and RPG game within the vanilla version of Mojang's Block Builder. Now you can go to Hogwarts using Minecraft.



This map was provided by the mod group The Floo Network, the group behind this massive and massively impressive creation. the Minecraft Hogwarts map's release on Planet Minecraft. "Hello everyone! Get your wands ready! We're finally releasing our map. an interactive RPG built for vanilla Minecraft!" The post also includes the debut of the new 'download trailer'. You can see it below.



The creation's humble name"Witchcraft and Wizardry: The Floo Network', doesn't reflect the value it brings to the game. As you can see in the video below, nearly all of the iconic features of Hogwarts and the world of the Harry Potter books are represented faithfully, brick-by-brick. There are photos of Hogwarts' vast complex network of halls and dungeons as well as towers and classrooms filled with annoyances and magical creatures from the Harry Potter series. We're not sure if there's a Minecraft Hogwarts Seed that will magically create the exact replica. Here's how you can get the best Minecraft Harry Potter map to experience the magic for yourself.



How do I get the Hogwarts Map in Minecraft



If you're interested in diving into The Floo Network's Minecraft Hogwarts map, you can find it to download on Planet Minecraft. It is worth noting that Witchcraft and Wizardry are only compatible with the Java Edition of Minecraft (versions 1.16 to 1.16.4).



You won't be allowed to play this version if you're using the Bedrock Edition available on PC.



Harry Potter Minecraft features



You may be wondering where you can go in this Minecraft Hogwarts Map. You can explore the beautiful suburban street of Privet Drive, as well as the entire of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. There is a massive feast packed with delicious food and candles that hang like magic when you enter its chambers. There's also the many stairs and hallways, all decorated with paintings of famous students from the school's past, and a library full of towering bookshelves.



You can also cast spells with your magic weapon, go through dungeons with magic challenges, shop with friends in Diagon Alley, and even meet the terrifying Dementors and Cornish Pixies. Quidditch is also available!



The map has been updated to include a full RPG storyline, with all the Harry Potter trimmings you might imagine. Everything from purchasing your first wand, schoolbooks, and robes in Diagon Alley to learning your first flying lesson at Hogwarts. The most exciting part is that you can locate Hagrid, Minecraft Hogwarts' favorite half-giant, assisting with his gamekeeping tasks. "Thank you for all your kindness and support throughout this project," the creators say in the mod's Discord server. "This map took us a number of years to complete and without your love and support, we would not have made it this far." We are thrilled to present the final map to you!
