Self-preservation subtype

Type Seven

Type Seven is an instinctual variant that exhibits intense energy, extreme behavior, and material success. This subtype has the self-preservation impulse, which is what makes them successful, but also a bit dependent. They must receive immediate feedback and have the opportunity to express their feelings. They may require some time to sort through the feedback they get and may require assistance from others in order to reach their goals.


The Eight instinctual type is more softer than the social/self preservation subtype. This subtype, while showing signs of self-preservation and social abilities, is more focused on group dynamics. They are charming and talkative. They are easily confused with a Seven and they can also employ their social skills to manipulate and trick others.

The Sexual Seven has a strong sense of humor, and it's not surprising to see a lot of comic characters of this kind. Although their sexuality isn't a problem and normal, they don't care about having sex and instead focus on the idealized connection they imagine having with someone. It can be a great way to have fun however it can make intimacy seem unsafe for Sevens.

The self-pres/sexual subtype shares many characteristics in common with other types, but it's different. The Seven is a person who wants to experience all things, but may be unhappy when life becomes boring. It is frustrating when other people reject them. This subtype can also be more intense and may have dark, nihilistic thoughts.
