Antti Reikko's solo work as Koria Kitten Riot

Finland's Antti Reikko is the lead singer of indie-folk quintet Koria Kitten Riot. The band released their debut album The Laughing Man last year, but the album hasn't received much blog attention yet. Reikko's influences range from Wilco and Elliott Smith to The Flaming Lips.

Reikko has cited Elliott Smith and Neil Young as his major influences for his solo work. In a song called 'Sunny Day Real Estate,' he borrows a melody from another band's song Pheurton Skeurto. Interestingly, this album's tempo varies widely, from 79 BPM to 178 BPM, depending on the song's tempo.
