� The MLE job intersects with a variety of fields, including operations, modelling, and data engineering. You will be required to carry out a variety of ML engineering tasks in this position, such as one or more of the following:
� Work with the Product and Data Science teams to develop, build, and/or deliver ML models and components that address current business issues.

� Incorporate your knowledge of ML modelling approaches and challenges, such as model selection, feature and data selection, model training, hyperparameter tuning, dimensionality, bias/variance, and validation, into your ML infrastructure decisions.
� Write and test application code, create and validate ML models, automate deployment and testing, and solve complicated challenges.
� Work with a cross-functional Agile team to develop and improve software that supports cutting-edge big data and machine learning applications.
� Retrain, maintain, and keep an eye on production-line models.
� Use cloud-based platforms, technologies, or architectures to offer improved ML models at scale.
� Create data pipelines that are optimised for feeding ML models.
� To assure the effective deployment of ML models and application code, use continuous integration and continuous deployment best practises, including test automation and monitoring.
� Ensure that all code is properly managed to reduce vulnerabilities, that models are properly governed from a risk viewpoint, and that the machine learning adheres to the best practises in Responsible and Explainable AI.
� Use coding languages like Java, Scala, or Python. Minimum requirements: a bachelor's degree
� At least 4 years of expertise with distributed computing to create and construct data-intensive solutions (Experience from internships is inapplicable.)
� At least 3 years of Python, Scala, or Java programming expertise; � At least 1 year of creating, scaling, and optimising machine learning systems A master's or doctoral degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline is preferred. Three years or more of expertise creating production-ready data pipelines for ML models are also required.
� Three or more years of work experience using an ML framework that is well-known in the business, such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, or TensorFlow
� 2+ years of developing performant, resilient, and maintainable code � 2+ years of gathering and preparing data for ML models � 2+ years of people management experience � 1+ years of leading teams developing ML solutions using industry best practises, patterns, and automation � Experience developing and deploying ML solutions in a public cloud like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Capital One won't currently sponsor a fresh candidate for this position's employment authorization.
