Arif signed an agreement that granted the Trump Organization 18% equity in the building, in exchange for the use of the Trump brand.

Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization agreed to the proposed agreement.

In the end, the first brick of SoHo, Trump SoHo was laid in the year 2006.

Due to the economic crisis that severely affected American real estate in 2008 the Arizona and Florida projects never got built.

Tevfik arif, Bayrock Group founder pursued other projects throughout Europe as well as Central Asia following the U.S. marketplace's shift.

Bayrock Group was active in the United States and invested over $2.5 Million in real estate assets.

Bayrock Group is not currently involved in any real estate development in the United States.

Tevfik Alif has retired from most of his work at Bayrock Group. He remains an advisor who is trusted and respected by Bayrock Group.
