Minecraft streamer and content creator Technoblade has passed away following an prolonged battle with stage four cancer the family of Technoblade announced in a statement and a video.
Techno had previously announced that he had been diagnosed as having cancer in August. He has been updating his followers regularly on his situation, while continuing to receive treatment and create content on YouTube.
Techno's father, Techno, narrates a final posthumous note titled "so long geeks" that was written for the occasion. It was filled to the full of the creator's humorous and often dark humor, and also serves as one final 'thank you' to all who supported the Minecraft star throughout the years.
"Thank you for supporting my content throughout the years. Technoblade would be my first choice in the event that I could live another 100 lives. Techno said that those were the most joyous years of my life.
"I hope you guys enjoyed my writing and that I am able to make a few of you laugh. I hope you all go on to live long prosperous, happy, and prosperous lives because I love you all. Technoblade out."
Techno who reveals himself to be Alex Techno, discusses how the money he earned from the sale of merchandise and other "sell-out" promotions in the last year has been used to send his siblings off to college. He also thanked his viewers for letting him share such happy moments with them. A slideshow of images that show him through different stages of his treatment can be seen on screen.

His father, who was there for Techno's final words, explains how he originally intended to record and write the video before his death. However Techno's declining health as well as other issues prevented him from doing so. According to his father who wrote the message, he did so from his bed and passed away within eight hours of his death.
"He was the most wonderful kid you could ever ask for," Technoblade's father said. "I am missing Technoblade. Thank you to everyone for everything.
