The mobile version of Minecraft - also known as Minecraft: Pocket Edition - is being designed to allow for massive changes literally. The developer Mojang has announced on its website that its team is "restructuring many of the codes to allow for substantially larger worlds in future updates," and also tweaked the AI of creatures as well as the inventory system and other details.
