In a move that is pure ridiculousness, Turkey wants to ban Minecraft because its Family and Social Policies Ministry has deemed it to be too violent for children. Yes, Minecraft is being banned because Survival Mode requires you to defend yourself from zombie-like Mobs, which sometimes means you having to kill them. As the region's Hurriyet Daily News reports, the Ministry also says that some children might confuse Minecraft's pixelated, pixelated landscapes for the real world.
