We're now making available 1.19.1 for Minecraft: Java Edition. This update adds Allay duplication as well as a new Player Safety features.
- Added Allay Duplication Tweaked Sculk Catalysts. Chat Trust status - New Options for Chat Preview - added Player Reporting
Allay
- Allays will dance to a Record that is playing in a Jukebox . If the Allay is given an Amethyst Shard while dancing it duplicates. Duplication comes with five minutes of cooldown
Sculk Catalyst
- Sculk Catalysts now drop 5 XP instead 20 XP
Chat
- Moved chat scrollbar to right
Chat Trust Status
Messages that aren't signed with the Secure Chat system, or have been tampered with by the server will be markedas "Not Secure." Messages with missing or invalid signatures are marked as "Not Secure" Messages identified as being modified are marked as "Modified"
The indicator's color is visible throughout the chat screen. - The icon will not be visible when the chat screen is opened.
If messages are modified the original secure text will also be displayed in the tooltip
Chat Preview
Chat Preview option "When Sending", which updates chat previews only when you attempt to send messages. To confirm sending a message, you will need to hit the Enter/Return keys twice. The "ON" setting was renamed to "While typing".
Player Reporting
Reporting a player who sends abusive messages to the game chat is now possible. The reporter must select chat messages that contain offensive content and the type of the complaint. This is to give the best context for our moderation staff to take action. This information is accessible via the screen for social interactions.
- Multiple chat messages may be selected for reporting. Additional chat messages around the selection will also be used to provide an additional context to our moderation team
The Report Categories screen has an "Learn About Reporting" button that provides an article on how to use the system.

Suspensions & Bans
- If you have been banned from online play, the game will display a notification screen at startup. The reasons for the suspension and the length of time it was in effect are shown.
Realms
- A message that has been blocked by the Java Realms Profanity Filter will now be marked with a yellow marker. Players will be notified when the chat message they sent has been completely filtered for one or more players on the Realm
Technical
- The chat input box will no longer be applied to custom font glyphs with negative advances, or glyphs with advances that exceed 32
Chat Types
Chat types that have been added to the chat_types registry now only used for chat with players and not for system chat.The game_info and system chat types have been removed
Chat types no longer support overlays. A system message should be used to display overlays
This chat type parameter can now be used by the msg_command_outgoing
Components
The run_command event on text components is not able to allow sending chat messages directly. Only commands are supported. Values are now required to be prefixed with. Commands such as /say that generate the chat message signed should be used instead.

The order of chat messages are now cryptographically verified. This is used for validating the context of chat messages for Player Reports
Server
enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers - Insecure chat messages logged in the server are prefixed with a [Not Secure] tag - Custom servers can set their own auto-completion options for regular chat via a new network packet - Custom servers can hide player chat messages from display via a new network packet- This does not delete player chat messages from chat logs
