In sleep, the soul travels to realms outside of the physical and material united states. A time comes when in these travels, the spirit/soul departs in preparation of moving past this earthly whole life. It is a time when the soul travels between 2 worlds-the earthly realm as well as the realm beyond. Death is an inevitable part of being born. Several thoughts occurred if you ask me as I considered this assignment. The first one was: "How do people want being remembered?" Second, I wondered who would write my story, the they would say. My final thought, which really frightened me more when compared to thought of writing my own, personal obituary, was: "Will my obituary bring tears to my readers' eyes?" Not from memories of my wonderful life; but from boredom on account of reading a snoozer a good obituary.

Five months later my sister died of cancer. Friends sent more sympathy cards and plants. I was recovering pretty well until my former son-in-law and the dad of my twin grandchildren, died of one's injuries he received in a car crash on Nov. 19, 2007.
