Minecraft is perhaps the most popular sandbox game. Players can make anything using mods and builds. This includes their own take on official trailers, doors from beloved films and their very own GIFs. It's a hive of imagination, and its tools allow players to create anything they can think of - including the Elden Ring city Farum Azula.
LeshaGloom posted a stunning picture on Reddit of a crumbling floating town that is part of Elden World. It's certainly one of the most impressive designs of the moment. Elden World is a map inspired by Elden Ring that will eventually contain more than twenty different dungeons and castles, special bosses and tough enemies to defeat, reimagining the treacherous, yet beautiful Lands Between.
PlanetMinecraft states that the project is currently at 40 percent. However you can download a demo right now to see it in action. The screenshots on the site showcase the likes an Erdtree that resembles Margit, the Fell Omen, and even one of the massive wondering mausoleums. The experience of playing seems to be more focused on the Elden Ring's appearance than the actual gameplay. However, you can always fuse the map with the Elden Ring modpack we wrote about a couple of months ago.
Theoretically, these two elements should make for the most immersive take on Elden Ring outside of the game itself, and without any of the confusion that multiplayer typically requires. It's always great to see projects come together and we're looking forward to seeing how full the Elden World map ends up being once it's all finished.
