FAQ Realms Clubs


How do I access Realms Clubs?




They are automatically created for your Realm and anyone you invite to your Realm will be added to the Club. You can access your Realms Clubs via the Xbox App on PC, console, or mobile or directly from your Realms menu in Minecraft. It's easy to carry your Clubs experience with you across different devices. Your feed will automatically sync (though video and chat are only supported by the Xbox App).




Who has been added to my Realms Club




Players who have been invited to join your Realm will be automatically added to your Realms Club. This allows all your invited friends to share and socialise all in one location. It's also simple to add or remove users from both Realms and/or Realms Clubs Don't be a jerk! This is a good idea regardless of whether or not you use Realms clubs.




How do I take and upload a screenshot to my Club?




To take a screenshot simply pause the game and press the button that has the Camera icon located next to the "Feed" button. Pressing this button will take an image of the current view (excluding the UI menu) and add it to your saved screenshots or directly to your Realms Clubs feed.




How can you report posts or comments to your Club?




Yes, you can report comments or posts to your Club admin. They can then remove comments or take players off the Club, if necessary. You can also report comments and posts directly to the Xbox Live enforcement group. For more information about club administrators and their abilities, visit Xbox Support.




Are children or teens automatically granted access to clubs?




Teens and kids need to be granted permission adjustments by a parent in order to be able to use Realms. This includes the Clubs feature. Children are not allowed to view any content posted in Clubs without additional parental permissions and teens cannot view content posted by non-friends of Clubs without additional parental permissions. Additional parental permissions are required for teens and children who wish to join other Xbox Live Clubs than their Realms Clubs. You can adjust permissions here: account.xbox.com/Settings




How do you remove players from your Club?




The Club administrator (owner of the Realm) can be able to ban or remove players from the club and from the Realm. Players who are banned from the Club will also be blocked from the Realm and vice the reverse. For more information, or to switch your Club administrator, go to Xbox Support.




Should I monitor my child's Club chat?




Xbox Live Clubs chat cannot be monitored or controlled by Xbox Live. Parents may choose to monitor their children’s feeds.




Can I remove the Realm Club?




There will always be a Club that is connected to your Realm. However, you don't have to use it if you do not would like to!




Why is my Club called "My Realm" but not my Realm's?




Your Realm name was not accepted as a Club name. Rename the Club and Realm to keep the names the same.




My Realm does not appear to have a club, what's the problem?

Why can't i create a new Realm on Xbox.com? I receive an error message that I should change settings on Xbox.com?




To create or join a Realm, your Xbox Online Safety settings need to allow both settings "Join multiplayer games" and "You can create and join Clubs". Only allow the first setting to play in a Realm.




How do I manage my Club in Minecraft?




In the Realms Settings menu you can alter the name or description of the Realm. This allows it to be synced with the Club. You can also alter the feed of the Club and access the reports in all forms by selecting "Manage feed" from the Realms settings menu.
