Minecraft Snapshot 19w13a

Snapshot intros aren't easy to write! They must accurately summarize all the information we gather each and every week, like the fact that Illagers has now gained enough knowledge to unlock doors (congratulations!) You can even trade during raids. They can also be used as a humorous way to get all the technical details about bug fixes. A good deal of memes could make this a fun Wednesday read. I cannot give you the latter since I've already gone on a bit too long. Perhaps next week?

RAIDS



Raids follow a predetermined pattern based on difficulty to determine the exact number of groups that will be created during the raid: Easy - 3 Normal - 5 Hard - 7



If you or your village mates brought more Bad Omen levels into the village during the raid, or at the initial event of the raid, you will get a bonus wave that is equal to the final base wave of your level of difficulty. For example, Bad Omen levels 2-5 will experience 4 waves on Easy, and the fourth wave is the exact same as the first.



BAD OMEN:



You can now go up to Bad Omen 5, and you only get one Bad Omen at a time by killing a captain. Every person who brings Bad Omen into the village will increase the Bad Omen level of the attack on the village up to Bad Omen 5. The higher levels of bad omen indicate that there is a greater chance that your enemies will have enchanted weapons.



The Hero of the Village:



You now have an effect dubbed Hero of the Village after successfully defending your village from being sacked! Servertracker.org The amount of this effect you receive is similar to the Bad Omen level of the village that was raided. The effect lasts for two days and gives huge discounts on trades. The discount is contingent on the effect level. Villagers will also be grateful, so make sure to be on the lookout for them after you have saved them!
