Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.1

We're now out with 1.19.1 for Minecraft: Java Edition. This version adds Allay duplicate and a new Player Safety functionality.



- Added Allay Duplication - Tweaked Sculk Catalysts. Chat Trust status New Options for Chat Preview - added Player Reporting



Allay



- Allays dance to the beat of a Record that is playing in a Jukebox . If the Allay receives an Amethyst Shard while dancing it will duplicate- Duplication has an interval of 5 minutes.



Sculk Catalyst



- Sculk Catalysts now drop 5 XP instead of 20



Chat



- Moved the chat scrollbar to the right - When you type a message the signing status of the message will be shown with a colored indicator. The indicator will either appear to the left of the input field, or to the left of the chat preview if chat preview is enabled. The indicator will appear blue when the displayed message is signed . The indicator will turn orange when Chat Preview is enabled and a preview is waiting to be signed



Chat Trust Status



Messages that have not been signed with Secure Chat or have been tampered by the server will be flagged. If there is no valid signature or signatures that are missing will be identified as "Not Secure". Messages marked with "Modified" are messages that have been found to be modified.



The indicator's color is visible throughout the chat screen. The icon isn't visible when the chat screen is opened.



- Modified messages will display the original secure text in the tooltip



Chat Preview



Chat Preview option "When Sending", which updates chat previews only when you attempt to send a message. To confirm sending an email, you'll need to hit the Enter/Return key twice. The "ON" setting was renamed to "While typing".



Player Reporting



It is now possible to report a player for posting abusive messages in the game chat. The reporter must choose the chat messages containing the offensive content and the type of the complaint. This is to give the best context for our moderation staff to take action. outguessing This is accessible through the screen for social interactions.



Multiple chat messages can be reported. Additional chat messages related to this selection will also be used to give our moderation team further context



- The Report Categories screen includes a "Learn About Reporting” button that provides an article on how to use the system.

Suspensions & Bans



- If you have been banned from playing online, the game will display a notification screen upon starting. The reason for the suspension as well as the time it has been in effect are shown.



Realms



- A message that has been filtered through the Java Realms Profanity Filter now has the yellow marker. Players will be alerted when a chat message they send is fully blocked for one of the Realm's players.



Technical



The chat input box will no longer be applied to custom font glyphs with negative advances, or glyphs that have advances that exceed 32



Chat Types



Chat types added to the chat_types registry now only used for chat with players and not for system messages.- The system and game_info chat types have been removed



Chat types no longer support overlays - A system message should be used to display overlays



This chat type parameter can now be used by the msg_command_outgoing



Components



The run_command click event for text components has stopped sending chat messages directly. Only commands are supported. This means that all values require a /-prefix - commands that result in a signed player chat message are not permitted/tellraw should be used instead

Multiplayer Secure Chat Signing



- Chat messages order is now cryptographically verified. This is used to verify the context of chat messages in Player Reports



Server



enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers - Insecure chat messages logged in the server are prefixed with a [Not Secure] tag - Custom servers can set their own auto-completion options for regular chat via a new network packet - Custom servers can hide player chat messages from display via a new network packet- This does not delete player chat messages from chat logs



Fixed bugs in 1.19.1



- More than 50 bugs were addressed in this release. Visit the issue tracker to see the complete list of bugs fixed.



Get the Release



To install the release, open up the Minecraft Launcher and click play! Make sure that your Launcher is set up to the "Latest Version" option.
