If you've ever dreamed of building a functional and real Windows 95 PC inside Minecraft it's time to do it. A brand new VM Computers mod has been developed for Minecraft that allows players to order computer parts from a satellite orbiting the Minecraft world and then build a computer that boots Windows 95 and a variety of other operating systems.
The mod uses VirtualBox, free and open-source virtual machine software to run operating systems like Windows 95. Within Minecraft you just need to place a PC case block and utilize it to create virtual hard drives to install operating systems from ISO files.

There's bound to be a lot more experimentation on the way particularly when people construct multiple PCs that boot different operating systems in Minecraft worlds. You can even play Minecraft on a PC within Minecraft.
The process of getting Windows 95 and Doom running is the ultimate test for any mod or hack. Windows 95 has been tested on an Xbox One, an Apple Watch and even as an app that you can download and install on macOS and Windows. Can Minecraft run Crysis however? We're keen to discover the answer.
