Minecraft updates are normally an exciting moment for players, but this one was created entirely by artificial intelligence. Ayeeee This isn't the only time we've witnessed AI being used to play around with the sandbox game but this is the first time AI has been used to create exciting - and game-breaking - new features instead.
SystemZee which you may be familiar with thanks to their incredible ocean design, decided that it was fun to let an AI design an update that they and their team would implement. After a basic first suggestion in the video (below) of a crafting table, things turn significantly more bizarre.
A wishing well that gives random items to players whenever they throw in an emerald may be useful, but our preferred is the Lava Bow which shoots an archer, which leaves behind lava bricks. While it sounds like enjoyable, it's actually a game-ending weapon that can cause a massive destruction to an entire area - as well as your computer in just a few seconds. It's pretty, however. We all want to touch lava, isn't it?
Oh and Minecraft: World Domination is the title of the update. Try not to think about it for too long as it's less of a Freudian slip and more of a statement of intent, since the AI created this one too. The name certainly ties in with some of the more bizarre and more destructive additions in this fake update. Your toaster could be plotting against your face when it stares at you with a funny look.
