A new age has begun

Minecraft

update is on the horizon We've been receiving weekly snapshots again. But, things aren't as they seem. While 1.20 is the major update that's being planned and is a snapshot of the 1.19.3 update, it also includes a lot of the features planned for the minor 1.19.3 update coming very soon. In another post, the team behind development stated that they're going to release minor updates more frequently and usually during the process of building the major ones.



We'll go through everything in this snapshot, can then dive right into the game and begin playing on Minecraft Java Edition.





Experimental features





The update will add 1.20 features mixed with 1.19.3 features. The developers have added an experimental feature switch to the menu. This will simplify the process. They will let both developers and users switch off features that are not needed and turn them on off in the "data pack" menu when creating a new world letting people test the features without having to remove them for official updates.





1.20 features





Minecraft The main features of the update 1.20 were announced at . This includes camels, chiseled shelves, bamboo wood, and hanging signs. Creative inventory changes





The creative inventory can be confusing if you don't have the full knowledge of every item in Minecraft. This update should make things simpler. The tabs have been redesigned with the identical categories of blocks. For example, rather than listing every kind of log of wood, then every wood plank, it will now list every "oak" item, followed by "birch" and so on.



Items that fall under different categories will be displayed in different tabs instead of being squeezed into one. Of course, if , for whatever reason, you don't want to both with any of that, the search bar is still there.





New wood sounds





All the wood types have been made to look nice by making different sounds when they're broken, placed or placed on. They've been divided into three categories: overworld, nether and bamboo. This helps to differentiate different kinds of wood and provide a little audio variety to the Minecraft world.





Bundles





This feature was originally planned to be a part of The Wild update but is now available as an experiment feature. These simple storage solutions let you carry things of various types in a single inventory slot that can accommodate up to 64 items fitting inside. It does not make your inventory larger however it won't make it easier to organize it and collect items you only have a handful of in a single slot. We've heard little about this feature since it was canceled, but now it's finally back, all you have to do is to turn it on in game.
