How to allocate more RAM to Minecraft
You have some RAM left, but Minecraft doesn't use it? In this tutorial, you will learn an easy way to give more RAM to Minecraft.
If you're a Minecraft player, you may have noticed that your game uses only a small amount of RAM. However, if you install mods that improve the game's performance or to enhance gameplay, for instance, the addition of new objects, mobs, or world generators, it could cause the game to stop instantly. This is because the game needs more RAM than you have.
Minecraft is developed in Java therefore you need to have both the standard 32-bit and 64-bit version installed in Java to increase the available RAM of the game.
Increasing the RAM available for Minecraft is easy, but you should consider the RAM of your device since you shouldn't give up more than 50% of the memory on your device. You should not give up more than 2GB to a computer that has 4GB RAM.
