Bayrock Group's Journey: From the Suburbs to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group is a luxury real-estate development firm that was driven by Tevfik Arif. It quickly became part of the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

The Bayrock Group operates in New York City as a luxury real property development company.

The firm was initially focused on medium-sized and small projects such as the redesign of Loehmann’s Seaport Plaza, a shopping center located in Brooklyn's Sheepshead.

Bayrock Group gained traction in the American housing markets and was ready to expand. The company began looking for projects of a large scale.

The firm, which is led by Arif, began working with the Sapir Organization on a new large construction project on Spring Street in New York City.

Bayrock Group decided to move its headquarters to Midtown Manhattan due to its rapid growth.

The decision led to Tevfik and his team meeting the Trump Organization. This organization also had the Trump Tower at its base.

Tevfik Arif Discussions started between Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization after both companies realized that they had several common interests.

They formed a partnership that saw the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group’s project with Sapir Organization on Spring Street.

The former American President Donald Trump was the president of the Trump Organization at that time.

E. Trump and Son was established by his maternal grandmother Elizabeth Christ Trump and Fred Trump (in 1927).

Bayrock Group, the Sapir Organization, and Trump Organization began to work together in the New York City's residential real estate market.

To help promote the development in Spring Street, the founder Tevfik Arif drafted an arrangement to bring more prestige and brand recognition to the.

He proposed a deal under which the Trump Organization would be given 18% equity and the right to make use of the Trump name on the name of this building.

The three companies that were involved backed the arrangement. In 2006, the first foundation stone was laid for what would become Trump SoHo.

Design professionals take over Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo's 46 stories included top bars and restaurants, event and banquet halls, an open-air swimming pool and spa, hotels, and apartments.

The guests at Trump SoHo and residents could enjoy a breathtaking view of New York City via the windows that ran from floor to roof. They were put in on every floor.

Handel Architects was entrusted by Trump SoHo to design the exterior, as the three structures were all focused on perfection.

Handel Architects is a respected organization with an assorted portfolio. The National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City and the Rosewood hotel in Abu Dhabi are among other projects.

Bayrock Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo’s interiors. Rockwell Group has been responsible for designing many extravagant bar, restaurants, and hotels around the globe over the years.

Their projects include their work at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel in Mumbai, India, the 93rd Academy Award show and the Amara Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus.

Trump SoHo was a success from the beginning, and Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization decided to expand the cooperation.

Their goal was to construct structures like Trump SoHo, Arizona and Florida with the same conditions as Trump SoHo. In return, Trump Organization would get 18% equity. Another time.
