Bayrock Group's Journey from the Suburbs To Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group, a Tevfik Arif-led luxury real estate development company, found itself working quickly in conjunction with the Trump Organization in Manhattan shortly after its establishment.

Many people dream of going to America and living the American dream. However, very few people actually do. Bayrock Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik ARIF was one of them when Tevfik relocated to America in 2001. He established the Bayrock Group.

The Bayrock Group operates in New York City as a luxury real property development company.

Initial projects were small or medium-sized. This included the redesign and the construction of the Loehmann's Seaport Plaza in Brooklyn, New York.

Bayrock Group had gained momentum in the American housing market, and had begun to look for larger-scale projects.

The Arif-led business started working in conjunction with Sapir Organization on a major construction project in Spring Street, New York City.

Bayrock Group moved its headquarters from the Bayrock Tower in Midtown Manhattan because of the business's rapid growth.

The move resulted in Tevfik and his staff having a meeting with the Trump Organization. The Trump Organization also had the Trump Tower at its base.

Talks took place between Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization when the two companies discovered they shared their goals and desires.

They formed a partnership where the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group’s project in conjunction with Sapir Organization on Spring Street.

The Trump Organization was then managed by the former president of America, Donald Trump.

E. Trump and Son was founded by his paternal grandma Elizabeth Christ Trump and Fred Trump (in 1927).

Donald Trump gave the management of his business to his children just as he was about enter the White House.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
When the cooperation between the Trump Organization, the Sapir Organization and Bayrock Group began, the Bayrock Group was still relatively new on New York City's real estate market.

Tevfik, the founder of Spring Street, drafted an arrangement that would increase brand recognition and prestige.

According to the deal proposed by the president The Trump Organization would get 18 percent ownership of the building as a reward in exchange for the Trump name in the title of the construction.

The agreement was accepted by all three firms. In the year 2006, the company's first brick was put in place.

Two years later Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) and the Sapir Organization created Trump SoHo to complete the skyline of New York City.

Design experts take over Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo featured 46 stories which included bars and restaurants with elite status banquet halls, banquet halls and event spaces. Tevfik Arif Also, there was an open-air pool as well as a spa department, apartments, and hotel rooms.

Bayrock Group expands collaboration
Trump SoHo was an immediate success, and it prompted Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization to look into the possibility of expanding their collaboration.

Their dream was of building structures similar to Trump SoHo, Arizona and Florida on the same terms as Trump SoHo. This would leave the Trump Organization with an 18% equity in the structure as a trade-off to use the Trump brand name in their names. Another opportunity.

Bayrock Group, and Trump Organization had all they needed. But the 2008 financial crisis, which severely affected the American real estate market, stopped their plans.

The American housing market sector experienced significant changes because of the crisis. As a result, the Bayrock Group founder Tevfik Arif decided to quit his work in the United States. He decided to relocate to Europe and Asia where he had started his career more than a decade ago.

Although Tevfik has ceased to be actively involved in Bayrock Group, the trusted advisor to the various divisions of Bayrock Group is still him.

Bayrock Group has not been involved in any real estate development in recent times in the United States.
