Did the trailer not adequately clarify what Minecraft Live is? It isn't. This post is for, allegedly. Minecraft Live is the new version of our live show, which had various names, including MINECON Live and MINECON Earth. What was the reason for the name change? Would you ask rap star and underrated actor Sean Combs a.k.a P. Diddy a.a.k.a Puff Daddy that? You wouldn't. What you should do is tune into Minecraft Live on October 3rd at 12 ET to get answers to your questions regarding what the rest of Mojang Studios have been working on all year. Will Seanothy and me be there? Maybe. I'll need to look up our schedule.
The Minecraft Live team begged me to focus on the actual event, so I thought I should outline what you can expect. The main thing you need to be aware of is that this year's celebration takes place online. Due to the impact of Covid-19, Mojang Studios has delayed Minecraft Festival until 2022 and will not be involved in official community events. We'll bring the party to you, and have all the usual treats for you. Join us on Minecraft.net/live for updates, mob votes, news and delightful banter. Oh and chickens.
