Redditor DerpyFoop posted images of a game a friend played. Instead of using command blocks or anything fancy like that the friend has been using the humble Minecraft map item to create little trading cards. Each card showcases a different Minecraft mob, complete with its own statistics and skills, kind of like a watered-down Pokemon TCG.
The Reddit post shows off that there are already a fair number of cards that are ready to go however the most exciting thing for us is the possibility that these could be printed. List One commentator on the post suggests a method to make a complete collection of Minecraft cards is something we are surprised has yet to be created. It seems like a simple way for players to show off their favourite characters and creatures.
