Razer Blade Laptop in Abu Dhabhi
The most recent refresh on Razer's Blade laptop is it's most impressive. Despite the substantial improvement in performance and design, the new Blade is more compact than ever. Razer did this by removing all Switchblade touch panels and shrinking the screen size to 14 inches. But the bulky gimmicks and screen space aren't overlooked due to the slim chassis and the lower MSRP, including the model with 128GB beginning at $1,800. Due to its increased specifications, The new Blade is still remarkably quiet. However, Blade's quietness has one drawback: its heat disperses across the aluminum casing, creating a boiling sensation when touched in certain areas. It's a highly stylish and powerful laptop with its fat removed to make it more efficient, and as far as performance and portability are in the spotlight, Razer is at the very top of the line.
The two main components of the Blade include the latest CPU from Intel and the Nvidia GPU. Intel has built its Haswell CPU around its brand new production process for transistors that is 22nm, which helps ensure low power consumption and performance. This combination is ideal for portable computing, in which battery life is paramount.

Razer Blade keeps with this thought; Intel has also boosted the integrated graphics portion of the CPU with the launch of the HD 4600.

Although it's not as good as its close Nvidia counterpart, this HD 4600 is an acceptable alternative for gaming and can significantly extend the life of one charge.
While gaming isn't the primary focus, the latest Blade is equipped with NVIDIA's GTX 765M GPU with 2GB of GDDR5 to provide the best performance. As one of Nvidia's mobile GPUs, the GTX 765M is below average for CUDA (shader) processors and memory bandwidth because of the small 128-bit interface. However, it uses higher clock speeds for memory and core to get the most from the bandwidth available. Since it supplies games on a 14-inch screen with 1600x900 resolution, The GTX 765M can do its job very efficiently. It will not be able to boost the resolution of your favorite game to ultra-high.

However, this HD4600 model leaves plenty to be desired. However, it's an acceptable alternative in an emergency.

Metro is the most demanding game for PC on the market, and it should come as no surprise it will not entirely run on HD 4600. However, it's impressive to observe the GTX 765M increase the frame rate to over thirty frames per second at high settings. It's not a problem should you choose to lower the settings to achieve higher frame rates; however, Metro: Last Light still looks stunning on the 14-inch display.

BioShock Infinite won't tax your hardware as much as Metro: Last Light; however, it's an excellent-looking game that can take advantage of the new features available in DirectX 11. The good news is that Blade's GTX 765M can run Infinite when the game's top settings turn on. The best part is that the HD 4600 can run with very low or low settings that are enough for gamers on the go.

Total War: Shogun 2 might be two years old; however, the war simulator continues to use GPUs as it calculates and renders large troop formations and long draw distances. Intel's HD 4600 can run Shogun 2 at an impressive speed when using the game's lowest setting, but additional presets and advanced options are greyed out in the built-in GPU. The GTX 765M, however, can deliver more than 60 frames per second when using the high-end preset, allowing room for more advanced features like tessellation, the high-dynamic-range of lighting, and ambient Occlusion.

Although it's not a huge gamer, it shows its value in other ways, in combination with Nvidia's Optimus software that blocks the GTX 765M in more mundane tasks and sends these tasks onto the built-in GPU. Functions that require GPU acceleration, for instance, the decoding of HD Flash video streams, will benefit from the additional hardware acceleration provided by the HD 4600. Razer Blade results in longer battery life for non-gaming activities. You can anticipate 7 to 8 minutes of Web browsing using Wi-Fi. The battery is tiny, just like laptops, and the custom-built brick is smaller than 6 inches, approximately 2 inches wide and .75 inches thick.

In contrast, With the GTX 765M option, you'll enjoy around 3 hours of gaming on this Blade's power source.

Razer Blade isn't a game-changing number; however, when you consider the size of the battery, it's pretty impressive.

The only drawback that can be ruled out for Blade's latest design is that it cannot disperse heat as effectively as earlier models. Razer has gone with tiny, low-rpm fans, which are adequate to maintain the laptop's internals; however, they need to keep the enclosure, particularly towards the rear, cool. The noise of fans is much easier to deal with than heat, which is why it's a shame that the fans were explicitly designed with the Blade's internals in the back of your mind. But, if the fan were bigger or faster to spin and faster, the Blade would not be as slim and silent as it currently is. The Blade's most significant problem is that it's a necessity negative.

With three ports for USB 3.0 ports as well as HDMI out, HDMI in, and the headphone/microphone combination port, you'll find the kind of connectivity offered by Blade Blade one would expect. However, it's not equipped with Ethernet. It's only sometimes all you'd expect. Ethernet connectivity is preferable during multiplayer games; however, given the Blade's slim profile, it's not surprising to find it missing. However, an Ethernet adapter to a USB adapter might be sufficient, even though Razer does not include one.

Razer has done an incredible job at removing unnecessary features, boosting performance, and reducing the size of its latest Blade. No Windows gaming laptops are as stylish and compact because of Razer's love for custom-designed components. For $1,800, on the one-28GB version, you're receiving an exceptionally high-end product that is superior to the competition in numerous ways. First time for me that the Blade is worth the price. The 128GB model could be too small in hard drive space for a general consumer, but
