Minecraft maker Mojang plans a spin-off game

Mojang the maker of Minecraft is developing an spin-off game inspired by its block-building game.
It is named Minecraft: Story Mode and will be an episodic video game that is set in the familiar Minecraft world however it introduces new characters to the world.
Telltale Games, which has previously produced many episodic titles and is now developing the game.
The first episode will be available on consoles, PCs , and Macs in 2015, along with Android devices.
So far, little information about what it could look like have been released. Mojang has released a short game that is based on a browser named InfoQuest II that demonstrates what it might appear like.
In a blogpost, Mojang said the game will be developed with the assistance of the Minecraft community.

It was created to assure players that Story Mode is not violent and bloody like other Telltale games. Telltale's most recent titles include Tales from the Borderlands, The Wolf Among Us and titles based upon Game of Thrones and the zombie thriller The Walking Dead.
"Telltale's Minecraft-like game will feel similar to Minecraft," stated Mojang, "though it is a completely unique take on Minecraft that is influenced by our game."
The announcement about Story Mode comes soon after Mojang released a completed version of its Scrolls card-based game of magic fighting.
