Minecraft builds are a large element of the community experience in the most popular game of all time, which is about punching down trees. There are plenty of incredible things to look at, from the practical ones, like this YouTuber who turned Pac-Man into a horror show and the more traditional and stunning, like these amazing Civilisation VI cutscene replications. Mojang sometimes runs competitions to inspire players, though many of these are unbound creativity.
The most recent build challenge was about Star Wars, with Mojang challenging players to create incredible things from the universe of Jar Jar Binks with blocks. The winner of this competition is someone called Ashwood, who recreated the Vuutun Palaa which was a Battleship of the Lucrehulk class which was in charge of the Droids during the Naboo invasion in Episode 1: a secretly the most popular Star Wars film.
Ashwood, who goes by the name of Gumliii Reddit Ashwood, who is a member of Reddit, says that the build doesn't currently have an interior, but they're considering it. Gumliii has made a few Star Wars-themed builds that you can see on their Planet Minecraft page. They also announced that they will be uploading this build there so you can play around with it. It's got a diameter of around 1,300 blocks and the maximum height limit of 383 blocks. It's big.
The other entries in the contest include stunning cityscapes as well as a recreation of famous battles and models as well. You might be wondering how they put these things together. A lot of the bigger ones utilize plugins like WorldEdit to make things easier. Gumliii worked for two weeks on it. It's still a massive effort, even using the plugins.

If you're into extremely complicated designs, it's worth checking out this amazing IRL creation of an Minecraft piston made of Lego. It even moves, although they didn't create working Redstone which is probably the best option.
