Well, it's taken a while for this to happen. Far too long. I apologize! It was a long time since this server was promised. Since then, me and the rest of the mod team have had to deal with some issues in trying to get everything ready. From debating what the design of the spawn should be to finding out the rules, it has been a long and difficult process to get all the pieces together. BuddyCraft is finally here, I can tell you with a little bit of triumphant-ness.
It's Friday. It's an exciting time. I hope that this date will coincide the conclusion of the school year for the majority of your school-bound friends out there. This should allow everyone to take a break from work and allow you to relax. And I don't know about you, but when I hear "relax," my mind immediately conjures up the thought of playing Minecraft with hundreds of deranged loners who "roleplay" as insane individuals on Reddit. This should be beautiful!
It is important to remember that this server could evolve into a community worthy its own discussion area. So I would like all of you to be aware of the r/okbuddycraft subreddit. It is the official subreddit for our official server... for our normal subreddit... yeah. minecraft servers Don't ask questions or discuss the server on the r/OKBuddyRetard. They'll be taken away by the tidal waves of Pickle Rick, Ben Shapiro, or whatever else is popular at any moment.
In terms of what the server will be like, it will be a basic survival server running 1.16.4 (for now) with plugins. It won't be anarchy, however, it will have many people building towns. A more comprehensive set of rules will be made available on r/okbuddycraft shortly before the server's launch.
