Gamescom 2022 will unveil new details for Minecraft Legends and Sega's Sonic Frontiers, and likely reveal more details about Modern Warfare 2 and Bethesda's Space RPG that is coming out Starfield. It's the first live Gamescom since the beginning of 2019, but you can still watch the opening night stream, hosted by Geoff Keighley, from the ease of your home computer. Here's how you can watch Gamescom 2022.
Gamescom 2022 kicks off August 23. Minecraft server list If you're watching from the UK it starts at 7pm, with viewers from the US East Coast able to tune in at 2PM, whereas viewers on PT can begin at 11AM.
The most important and most confirmed information is the release of more details and hopefully more gameplay footage from Sonic Frontiers. But host Geoff Keighley also confirmed that the Gamescom Opening Show will feature "30+ Games" It's possible that some of 2022's biggest releases and 2023's will also be teased.
Call of Duty: Vanguard was released with a brand new gameplay trailer at last year's event. Modern Warfare 2 seems to be a promising option this year's release. Be sure to check our guide on Modern Warfare 2 beta launch date and how to play. It is also possible to see FIFA 23, God of War: Ragnarok and the new survival horror The Callisto Protocol. Our personal top-ranked games include Dead Space, Resident Evil 4's remake and Starfield. But for now, we're only speculating and hope.
The opening event will be streamed live on the official Game Awards YouTube and Twitch channels. It's worth tuning for a half-hour prior to the event because previous events have included announcements as well as gameplay footage. And of course, if you're planning on going to Cologne, Germany, and watching Gamescom in person, you'll be able to buy tickets on the official website for the event. Xbox will have its own stream during Gamescom where it's scheduled to stream Minecraft Legends and A Plague Tale : Requiem. You can stream that on any of the Xbox social channels including YouTube.
