5G Radiation and Skin Cancer
This article focuses on the subject of 5G radiation, a non-ionizing form of electromagnetic radiation. Because 5G radiation is so small, it does not have the capacity to break the chemical bonds of biological tissues or cause any alteration to cells. It isn't known whether the effects of 5G radiation alter the risk of developing skin cancer. No evidence exists to suggest it may cause other disease.

High-frequency millimeter wave radiation
High-frequency millimeter wave radiation from mobile phones and wireless networks can cause health issues to human beings. There are several ways that this radiation can be harmful. In certain instances radiation may cause damage to the person's DNA. In other instances, it may cause damage to other areas within the body like the brain.

Recent research has shown that 5G technology could cause thermal heating in tissues. As a result, researchers from the International Council on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) has asked for a review of the existing thermal and biological safety standards. The current standards for exposure do not protect people from excessive heating in the event of exposure to pulsed millimeter wave radiation.

Skin cancer risk
There is no definite answer yet to the question of whether the 5G radiation can cause skin cancer. However, it is believed that RF-EMFs from 5G behave similarly to radiations that emit high-LET. This means that they can produce high levels of free radicals in the skin. The FCC hasn't issued any specific guidelines on the risks of 5G technology. Consequently, the debate is ongoing.

Although there are a number of studies that examine the impact of radio waves with higher frequencies on human health, they remain largely in scope. However, there is concern over the effects of millimeter-wavelength exposure on oxidative stress and gene expression. These effects may extend to the skin and various organs, such as the brain.

The impact of other diseases
A new generation of wireless technology, 5G, is rapidly gaining ground however, scientists are advising against its potential health hazards. 5G technology is expected to significantly increase the quantity of electromagnetic radiation found that we encounter in our surroundings. This is a problem that has led to debates in a variety of countries which includes Switzerland. In September 2017, 390 scientists and doctors have backed a motion to put an end to 5G deployment. The motion was not taken seriously by the European Commission, which is in charge of regulating the use of technology like 5G.

As a result there is a need for more research to determine the health impacts of 5G. In the meantime studies have proven that 5G doesn't cause the same effects in humans as old mobile networks. Also, it doesn't spread the new coronavirus type. Additionally rf protective clothing doesn't make people more susceptible to infections caused by viruses.

Exposure measurement
Measurement of exposure to 5G radiation is an essential component of making sure that 5G networks are safe. There are two methods to determine exposure. Proteck'd Emf Clothing is to measure the RF power absorbed by human tissue. Another is measuring the amount of radiofrequency energy produced by an object. Radiation frequency energy (RF) refers to an electromagnetic field of energy that comes through radio transmitters.

The United States, the FCC has imposed a restriction on the power density of mobile devices running 5G. These tests only test the power density of a distance of several inches, and it is the FCC does not require measurements of each beam. However, how much power is generated by each beam is estimated by computer simulation. The worst case scenario is selected depending on the design of each beam.

Limitations of the study
There has been a lot of discussion about whether the effects of 5G radiation are detrimental to human health. The Swiss Government, for example has released an assessment that concludes that 5G technology does not cause adverse health effects in the short-term, but there are no studies which have shown long-term impacts. However, this report also has several issues, including biased reportage.

The frequency and power of the radio waves that generate energy are determined by the frequency. The energy that is carried by a millimetre wave will be the same as the current radio waves, but they are much less visible and will be ideal for high-density settings as they won't be block by walls or glass. Urban areas with high density would require many tiny, low-power sites and suburban areas will benefit from 5G sites that operate at lower frequency.
