Minecraft Map is Now Completely Mined after 5 Years

The Minecraft map is huge and can be hard to wrap your mind (and pick and shovel) around. List The majority of players create new worlds before they see the entire old one. They'll then cleanse it of diamonds, redstones and other valuables before moving to new terrain. One player, though the YouTuber Minthical takes a more comprehensive approach.



Although we typically write about amazing Minecraft constructions, such as those making MS paint, or magical transformative villages, it's a little rarer that a good Minecraft map is worth writing about. Well, at least official ones. The IKEA map speaks for the map. This map is different though, because it's not about what's been made however, it's about what's been destroyed.



Minthical is a YouTuber who has been mining every block on a single map for five years. This is more than 45 million blocks. On August 12, Minthical streamed live how close they are to completing this world-ending challenge. They talk about how many blocks have they extracted, the difficulties they faced, and some important points on scale. It's an excellent showcase for stat fanatics. They expect to be done with the project by September, so if want to ensure you're there when the final block is mined, ensure you're a subscriber.
