The Sacred Heart Church
If you are interested in donating to the church, you can do so online. Donations are fast and easy. You can also drop off envelopes at the old rectory. Founders Hall, the Wicks organ, and the Schulke organ are some of the things you will learn about. Several other highlights of the church include its beautiful stained glass windows and Odell case-work. Read on to learn more about this beautiful church.

Founders Hall

Founders Hall is a modern, fully-equipped kitchen that can accommodate up to 228 people. It may be reserved for private functions and must be booked at least 21 days in advance. For private events, the Archdiocese of Atlanta requires insurance coverage. To reserve Founders Hall, contact Christine Mimms. She will be happy to assist you. The building's central courtyard forms a north-south axis. Founders Hall is the main academic building, and was completed in 1960 as Sacred Heart Hall. In 1999, it became the Hamilton Family Foundation Communication Center, featuring modern graphic design studios, a newsroom, and a radio station. https://thesacredheartchurch.org and community outreach offices. Schulke organ

The Schuelke organ at The Sacred Heart Church was installed in 1909. This instrument was built by the William Schuelke Company, a leading builder in the upper Midwest, and has two manuals and pedals. Listed as Opus 149, this organ has two manuals and pedal. It is one of the most impressive instruments in the area and is still in use today. A history of the instrument can be found in a book written by Sister Maria Goretti Zehr.

In 1876, an unknown builder installed the original organ. In 1902, the church purchased an organ from the Wm. Schuelke Company, which cost $5,000 and included the trade of the old organ. The organ has the Schuelke signature on the bottom right side. This organ is one of the largest pipe organs in the United States. The Schulke organ at The Sacred Heart Church dates back to the late 1800s, but it is the only one in the city of St. Paul.

Odell case-work

The Odell case-work at The Sacred Heat Church has rekindled the controversy surrounding Catholic priests who sexually abuse children. The diocese of Sault Ste. Marie is being held vicariously liable for the sexual abuse that occurs at the hands of priests, which is the third most common method of wrongful termination in the United States. The lawsuit was brought by the victim, John Doe, who was a happy family man until Grade 5, when he met Fr. O'Dell. This priest was a spiritual mentor to him, and did not allow the abuse to occur until Grade five.
