The terrifying new Minecraft Warden mob awaits you in The Wild Update; here's everything you must know about how to spot them and how to avoid detection

Do you want to know more about the new Minecraft Warden mob? The terrifying monster can be found lurking deep in the Minecraft caves as part of the Minecraft 1.19 update. It was first introduced in the Minecraft 1.19 snapshot.



The Minecraft Warden patrols deep caverns, and is the only one who is blind to the mob. What is it that makes the Warden so frightening? The Warden can locate you even when you're not able to see. Instead, the Warden uses the sound of his ear to find players. This means you'll have to be extremely clever to avoid confrontation with this new mob. If you're clever you can throw objects like snowballs in order to get Wardens to move in a different direction. If you're caught out and without a direction then you must take on this powerful beast.

Wardens spawn within the Deep Dark biome. This means you'll have to travel very far in a cavern expedition to find this mob. Wardens have their own spawn requirements. If you do decide to be sneaky you can be sure that the Warden doesn't be able to tell if your still and make no sound. Throwing snowballs may help keep the Warden from being distracted enough to let him pass by.



If you make too much noise, go too close or scream at a Warden it will get more agitated and will begin to chase you. There are three options available: run away, fight it, or to throw it off its tracks.



A Warden can outrun players who are running at a high speed. Name mc If you're planning to run it, make sure you have a clear path and sufficient endurance. It is invulnerable to damage caused by lava and fire and is not affected by water hazards.



You can do a couple of things to get the Warden off your trail. In the first place, other mobs not related to Warden could trigger it to attack them by moving around. You can also confuse it by throwing projectiles at it or activating a minecart, allowing you to slip away.





How do you beat a Minecraft Warden

A Warden can have 250 hearts. This health pool, when combined with its high attack power is what makes them the most powerful of all naturally-spawning Minecraft mobs. Here are the Warden’s stats, which are based on your difficulty level.



- Easy: 8 hearts per hit - Normal: 15 hearts per hit - Hard: 22.5 hearts per hit



Its attacks can disable Minecraft shields for a short period and have a vertical reach of up to four blocks. So if you are playing in hard mode, it can instantly take you down with just one punch, even if you are wearing the full Netherite armour.



You'll receive three experience points when you kill the Warden. The block that it's standing on will also become a Sculk block, and the blocks that surround it become veins of sculk.
