The first four episodes of Minecraft: Story Mode came out in rapid succession, giving players a well-crafted story before Christmas. With just one episode to go the developer Telltale suddenly stopped talking about when its adventure was going to conclude. Today we have a time -- and it's quite what we were expecting. Episode 5 will premiere on March 29th and will be followed by three more episodes later in the year. The episodes are described as "additional escapades" and won't form part of the season pass, so you'll have to shell out a bit more if you want the complete story.
"We're not going to go into details regarding the content yet however we can say that they'll be great, and maybe come with an entirely different flavor than the previous season," Mojang's Owen Hill explained in a blog post. If you're keeping up with Minecraft: Story Mode, you'll be aware of the reasons the reasons why the team is looking to develop more episodes. The world changes dramatically in the final episode four, setting up a whole new batch of adventures for Jesse and the Order of the Stone.
