At its heart, Minecraft is a blocky first-person experience about making things, exploring a vast wilderness, and fighting terrifying creatures that roam the night, but that doesn't do justice to the game. Minecraft is to my 25-year-old self the same way that Legos were to my 5-year-old self: a time-sucking, mind-bending, and sleep-depriving experience in the simplest of activities. It's a great tune about the process of creation.
Minecraft doesn't have a particular direction and anchoring plot, nor do they have guidelines. You're a miner and you're dropped in a world that only allows you to extract resources from the surrounding land. ).
The game's graphics won't impress however, it leaves you with only one goal on building. Soon you'll find out that once it gets dark, chilling around with a pickax will not be helpful against the pixelated monsters, zombies and other creepy creatures after you.
Minecraft's main focus is crafting tools and collecting materials to build anything you'd like. You'll still require the proper raw materials, no matter if you want to build more powerful weapons to fight off the night creatures or construct an impressive fortress to display to other miners who are in open space. Make no mistake: this game is a grind. It's worth the effort of searching for the right material over and over again.

Minecraft is not a self-sustaining instructor. Don't count on Majong's finite options to get a grasp of the game. Instead, I recommend looking on the Net for community-created guides. If you want to focus on building and avoid the hassle of guarding your fortress, then Creative mode is for you. This mode gives you unlimited access to all tools and building blocks, as well as the capability to fly.
This game is not suitable for you if you're uneasy with the lack of direction. When you're looking for open-world gameplay and mechanics, Minecraft is a primitive but fine demonstration of thriving on bare-bones gaming. Grab an axe and get digging.
