Take your time when choosing your dream that you would like to pursue. It is vital to make sure you select the right path. It is vital that you're passionate about your vision and believe it will be successful. More important than the venture that you choose to pursue is the degree to which you trust the concept behind it. You can make changes along the way once you've begun your journey. It's better to be flexible and adapt and make improvements in the beginning rather than spending more time or money.
Rami Beracha
Rami Beracha's advice for students of Herzliya's Interdisciplinary Center is based on his personal experience. Rami was a teenager who decided to study law. Though he wasn't sure if it was the best path to pursue, he decided to continue his legal studies, earned a Master’s in New York and worked as an intern in an international law firm. He realized that his love was more in business rather than law after his stint working in the Wall Street law office. He quit his job and relocated to France to pursue an MBA.
After graduating in the year 1996, Beracha began working for the Venture Capital Fund Pitango, the largest venture capital investment fund in Israel. Pitango is a fund that invests in startups in the early stages, and in high-tech core areas. It has more than 200 investment and has 85 exits. Rami was named managing Partner in the year 2000. In the 18 years that followed, Rami managed dozens deals which led to the sale of Fortune 500 giants like Broadcom (Marvel), Cisco, Cisco, and Apple.
It didn't end there. Globes presented Beracha with the "Esteemed Partner Award" in 2011, recognising his status as an investor of influence. Rami launched a new venture called Sosa in the year 2014. Sosa has innovation centres located in New York, Tel Aviv and Tel Aviv. Here they assist innovative high-tech companies to partner with entrepreneurs around the world seeking to work with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was selected recently to head the New York City cyber center.
