Rami Beracha's advice to students studying at Herzliya's Interdisciplinary Center is based on his personal experience. Rami was a teenager who decided to study Law. Though he wasn't sure whether it was the right choice for him, he decided to study law and got an MA in New York. He then worked overseas in a law firm. After his time in the Wall Street firm, he discovered that he was passionate about business more than law. He left his job to go to France to complete an MBA.
Following her graduation from the college, in 1996 Beracha began work at the Pitango Venture Capital fund the largest venture capital investment fund. Pitango is focused on companies that are in their initial stages developing the core areas of high-tech, with over 200 investments and over 85 exits so far. Rami became managing partner in 2000 , and for the next 18 years, he lead many deals that led to success in the exits of Fortune 500 companies like Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.

It didn't end there. Globes in 2011 gave Beracha "Esteemed Partner" recognition, recognising his influence as an investor. Rami founded Sosa in 2014 to launch a new initiative. Sosa hosts innovative centers located in New York (and Tel Aviv) where they work with global entrepreneurs and support technologically innovative companies. Sosa was recently selected to run and construct New York City's cyber centre.

The new fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will bring together Israeli as well as European Investors to support UAE high tech companies in virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and robotics. Today, Rami Beracha seems to be a success in nearly every area he's chosen. But his life was not always simple. Like many Israelis, Beracha joined the army at the age of a young. He became a Paratrooper's Brigade Combat Soldier and participated in the Lebanon War. Rami was part a rescue team that went out to assist soldiers injured in a minefield. This happened shortly after the war was over. Rami was unfortunate to fall on a hidden mining and suffered a broken foot as well as a swollen hand.

His stay in the hospital was one of his most challenging experiences. He couldn't move and was overwhelmed by depression and despair. He is a volunteer for numerous organizations and donates to. He is very passionate about helping young men, who suffered from combat injuries. Rami led a group that was injured when serving as a soldier on the Nepal trip in the year 2016. In 2018, he was promoted to the rank of major in the Israeli army's paratrooper and fire brigades. In spite of the difficulties he faced, his dreams were realized as a young man. His life and story are a true inspiration for othersto never give up, no matter what the circumstance. Rami didn't let his injuries hinder him; he kept learning and experimenting until he was even more resilient than before.
