Pitango invests in companies at their infancy stages, and develops the core areas of high-tech. Pitango has made over 200 investments to date and had more than 85 exits. Rami became managing partner of Pitango in 2000. He led numerous deals that led to success in the exits of fortune 500 companies like Broadcom and Marvel, Cisco, and Apple in the following 18 years.

He didn't stop there. Globes presented Beracha with the "Esteemed Partner Award" in 2011, recognizing him as an influential investor. Rami founded Sosa in 2014 as a fresh initiative. Sosa has innovation centers in New York, Tel Aviv and Tel Aviv. While Rami Beracha is a successful man today, his life was not always smooth. Beracha was just a teenager when became a soldier in the army. He was a Paratrooper's Brigade Combat Soldier and participated in the Lebanon War. Rami was part of a rescue group that helped wounded soldiers in minefields. It was the year 1983. Rami was unfortunate to have fallen into the mine in a cave and suffered fractured feet and a hand injury.

His rehabilitation period in the hospital was among the most difficult experiences of his life. He couldn't move , and fell into despair and depression. His dreams of becoming an army officer did not materialize and he lost his sense of his self. Through his suffering, Rami was able to discover the drive to keep living and create new dreams. Rami resolved to be even more successful and stronger than prior to the injuries. Rami pushed himself to try various extreme sports. Today, he enjoys snowboarding and kitesurfing, as well as hiking up Mount Kilimanjaro. He is constantly striving to get better at his sport and feels like his old healthy self is driving him along.

He has volunteered for numerous organizations and makes donations. He is very passionate about helping young men, suffering from injuries sustained in combat. Rami led a team of soldiers who suffered injuries while serving in the military in Nepal in the year 2016. In the year 2018, Rami received elevated to the rank of Major within the Israeli Military's Paratrooper and Fire Brigades. He had his dreams as an aspiring young man, and they came to fruition despite all the challenges. His life story and passion are a true inspiration for other people, and he never gave up, no matter what the circumstance. Rami didn't let injuries stop him from pursuing his goals as he continued learning and trying new things until he became more resilient than before.
