Rami Beracha’s advice to students of Herzliya's Interdisciplinary Center is based on his own personal experience. As a young man, Rami decided to study law. He was not sure whether he was on the right route, but he pursued his legal education and earned the Master's degree in New York, then worked in an overseas law firm. He discovered that his passion was more business-related rather than law after his stint at the Wall Street law office. He quit his job and went to France to take on an MBA.

Following her graduation in 1996, Beracha was hired by the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. Pitango is Israel's most significant venture capital company. Pitango, which focuses on companies that are in the early stages of that are developing the core areas of high tech and has received more than 200 investments from investors and exited more than 85 companies to date. Rami became managing Partner in the year 2000. Over the 18-year period, Rami managed dozens deals that led to exits to companies in the Fortune 500 such as Broadcom (Marvel), Cisco, Cisco, and Apple.

Sosa operates innovation centers in New York City and Tel Aviv and provides support to high-tech businesses looking for partners with international entrepreneurs who are looking to collaborate with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently chosen to build and oversee the New York City's cyber centre.

Beracha is now ready to take the next step following his role in helping to establish Israel as a global technology hub. Beracha plans to launch a Middle East venture capital fund addition to the European fund. Beracha believes that now is a good time to invest in the Arab Market following the recently concluded Abraham Accords with Israel and United Arab Emirates. Dubai is a highly-modern and affluent city, is the perfect location to begin. Ender Ventures is his new fund. He plans to use Israeli ad European Investors for support to high-tech UAE firms in areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence and virtual reality. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its approach to business. It will most likely draw numerous companies to its shores over the next few years due to low taxes on business and extremely favorable legislation for businesses.

Presently, Rami Beracha seems to be a success in almost everything he has chosen. But his journey was not always easy. Beracha was just a teenager when became a soldier in the army. He was an Paratrooper's Brigade combat soldier and fought in the Lebanon War. Rami was part of a rescue mission to help wounded soldiers in a dangerous minefield and joined the Paratrooper's Army in 1983 shortly after the war. Rami was unfortunate enough to step on mines and fell, losing his foot and his hand.
He was admitted to the hospital for rehabilitation, which was among the most stressful times of his life. He was unable to move and fell into desperation and depression. All his dreams of building his army career were lost to him, and he didn’t even know who he was. The suffering of Rami helped him discover the drive and passion to keep living and dream up new ones. He set out to become better and stronger than he had been before the injuries. Rami was the first to try other extreme sports. He is now a kitesurfer (and snowboarding) and has trekked Mount Kilimanjaro. Sometimes, he feels that his unharmed past is pushing him ahead, even as working to improve.

Rami gives donations to and participates in numerous organizations. He is also passionate about helping young soldiers, just like him, who have been wounded in combat. Rami was part of a team that was injured during his time in the army during an Nepal trip in 2016. In the year 2018, Rami received elevated to the rank of Major in the Israeli Military's Paratrooper and Fire Brigades. He was able to realize his childhood goals despite the challenges. His passion and life story can be a source of inspiration for others. Rami didn’t let his injuries hold her back. He was always trying new methods, learning and growing until he became stronger than he was before.
