Look to the side and you'll see a green box that reads "Get Minecraft". Click on that.



How to download Minecraft on your PC: Which version is best for you?



Clicking the button will prompt you to choose which Minecraft version to download. The options here are computer, mobile, console, and others (yes, there are that many versions of Minecraft! ).



Click on the one marked "computer" to access this guide.



Next, choose which version you want to use: the Java Edition or Windows 10 (Bedrock).



If you choose the Windows 10 game, you will be taken to a Minecraft version-specific page with a "buy" button. Click 'buy' to go to the Microsoft Store. You can then purchase the game and immediately install it.

How to download Minecraft on your PC: Register and Install



Windows 10 users have finished, but there are still things you need to do in order to grab the Java Edition.



After clicking "Buy", you'll need to register an account with an email and password. Generic passwords are not allowed.



Once you have completed all the fields, click'register' to open another tab and pull up an email inbox. You should have received a four letter code you'll now need to enter back on the Minecraft website to move on.



Enter the code in the box, hit 'verify' and you're almost done.



Now comes the buy page. Enter your card details and verify the amount. Click the 'purchase' banner to the bottom.



Wait for the page loads and you will be taken to the "purchase complete" screen. Click on 'download for Windows' and a file named 'MinecraftInstaller.msi' should auto download.



Click on the file and it will install. Just click on the file to start it.



A new window should open (that's the Minecraft launcher), log in with your email address and password then click 'play'. And there you have it, you now know how to download Minecraft for PC.
