Minecraft: Will The RTX Beta Be Available In Java Edition?

Nvidia has released the Minecraft RTX beta for Windows 10. Everyone seems to agree with the fact that it is stunningly beautiful makes Mojang's title seem like a whole new game. The Minecraft RTX beta version from Nvidia isn't available for the Java Edition.



The RTX beta for Minecraft is available for Windows 10 and Mojang have cited the Java community's modding as inspiration for their collaboration with Nvidia:



"The Minecraft Nvidia FAQ states that the mods and textures of the Java Edition have been modified by the Java community."



"This is a source to inspire this new work with NVIDIA/Render Dragon. Java Edition does not support ray-tracing natively, but this beta adds DirectX ray-tracing support to Bedrock.



We hope to provide this same spark and similar capabilities to the Bedrock community to envision their own point of view and express themselves with ray tracing and their own HD textures."



While the RTX beta is available for Windows 10 and not Java, Windows Central reports that there is a limited-time upgrade programme for original owners to get the required version for free.



If you are unable to get Windows 10, but still want Java, you can use RTX by relying on the community.
