Pitango is focused on startups that are that are developing the core areas of high tech and has received more than 200 investments from its investors and exited over 85 companies up to now. Rami became the managing partner in the year 2000, and over the next 18 years, he was responsible for numerous deals that resulted in success in the exits of Fortune 500 companies like Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.

It didn't end there. Globes honored Beracha with the title of "Esteemed Partner", recognizing him for his work as a major investor. Rami established Sosa in 2014, a new initiative. Sosa's innovation centres are located in New York and Tel Aviv. They support high-tech startups by partnering with international entrepreneurs. Although today it seems that Rami Beracha succeeds in everything that he's decided to do, his life was not always easy. Beracha was a soldier as a young man, much like the majority of Israelis. He was a member of the Paratrooper's Brigade as a combat soldier, and also fought in the Lebanon War. Rami was part a rescue team sent out to assist soldiers injured in minefields. The incident occurred shortly after the war ended. Rami was unfortunate enough to step on mines and fellto the ground, loosing his foot as well as his hand.
The time he spent in the hospital rehabilitation was one the most challenging times of his life. He couldn't walk and became depressed and despairing. He wasn't sure who he was anymore, and all his hopes of progressing his career in the army were gone. In the midst of his struggles, Rami was able to be driven to continue living and create new dreams. He decided to become even stronger and stronger than he was before his injuries. Rami was determined to try new extreme sports. He now enjoys kitesurfing, snowboarding and has even been on the mountain of Mount Kilimanjaro. He sometimes feels like his unwounded past is pushing ahead, even though working to improve.

He gives donations and is a volunteer in numerous organizations. He is extremely dedicated to helping young men who, like him suffered injuries in battle. Rami led a group that suffered injuries during his time in the army during an Nepal trip in 2016. He was promoted to the rank of major both in the Israeli paratrooper ranks as well as the fire brigades. The dreams he had as a young man had found a way to happen, regardless of the challenges he faced. His story and the passion he has for his cause are a great inspiration to everyone who reads about them. Rami did not let his injuries hinder him as he continued learning and trying new things until he became more resilient than before.
