Rami Beracha believes, even in the Coronavirus Economic, that there are plenty of investment opportunities.

It is essential to be passionate about your vision and believe that it will be successful. More important than your venture choice is how strongly you believe in the concept. Rami Beracha’s advice to students of Herzliya's Interdisciplinary Center is based on his own experience. Rami was a teenager who decided to study Law. He was not certain if whether he was going to pursue law, but he pursued his studies and graduated with an advanced degree in New York. After that, he worked in an international law firm. He discovered that his passion was more for business than law during his time at the Wall Street law office. He decided to quit his job and relocate to France for an MBA.
After receiving her degree in 1996, Beracha got a job by the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. Pitango is Israel's largest venture capital investment company. Pitango works with companies in the early stages of their development, with a focus on the core sectors within the high-tech. Pitango has invested over 200 times and made 85 exits. Rami became the managing partner in 2000 , and for the next 18 years was in charge of many deals that led to successful exits to large corporations in the Fortune 500 like Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.

It didn't end there. In 2011, Globes gave Beracha the "Esteemed Partner" award, honoring him for the powerful investor that he had become. In 2014, Rami created a new venture named Sosa. Sosa operates innovation centers in New York and Tel Aviv which support cutting-edge high-tech companies in partnering with global entrepreneurs looking to collaborate with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently appointed to oversee the development and operation of New York City’s cyber center.

In the case of Beracha, he has two new projects in the works. In London, Beracha founded a fund for blockchain venture capital, along with several business partners. Beracha, who helped to establish Israel as a hub for high-tech innovation, is now ready to expand his reach. Beracha's business outlook is reflected in the new fund. Beracha is planning to launch a Middle Eastern fund for venture capital. Beracha believes this is the best moment to invest in Arab markets, particularly after the recent agreement of the Abraham Accords between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. What better place to start then the super wealthy and modern Dubai? The idea behind his newest fund or Ender Ventures, as he intends to name it, is to recruit Israeli ads European Investors to support UAE high-tech businesses in the field of virtual reality, artificial intelligence robotics, robotics, and many more. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its business outlook. The tax rates are low and the business-friendly laws are sure to make it a magnet for many businesses over the next few decades.

While Rami Beracha seems to be successful in all he has pursued however, it wasn't always so easy. Beracha, just like many Israelis, entered the army as an untrained soldier. He was an Paratrooper's Brigade Combat Soldier and fought through The Lebanon War. In 1983, just following the war, Rami was part of the rescue group that was formed to assist wounded soldiers in a wild minefield. Rami was unfortunate enough to step onto a mine that was hidden beneath his feet, and suffered a severe injured.

His hospital stay was among his most difficult experiences. He couldn't move and sunk into despair and depression. The hopes he had to further his career in the military seemed lost , and he did not know the identity of who or what he was. Rami's illness helped him find the passion and drive to continue living and to create new dreams. He set out to become stronger and more efficient than before his injuries. Rami was determined to test different extreme sports. Today, he enjoys snowboarding kitesurfing, snowboarding and hiking up Mount Kilimanjaro. He sometimes feels like his past that is unresolved has pushed forward, even as he works to improve.
He volunteers for many organizations and donates to. He is passionate about helping young men who were wounded in combat. Rami was the leader of an army unit that helped injured soldiers on a 2016 journey to Nepal. In the year 2018, he earned the rank of Major in the paratrooper and fire brigades within the Israeli military. He was able to realize his childhood goals despite the challenges. His story and his passion are a great inspiration to everyone who reads about them. Rami didn't let injuries hold him back; he kept learning and experimenting until he was more resilient than before.
