Rami Beracha discusses his life experiences with students of the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. Rami was a young man who chose to pursue a degree in Law. Although he wasn't sure that it was the right choice for him, he decided to continue his studies in law, obtaining an MBA in New York, and then was employed abroad at an attorney firm. He realized that his love was more for business than law through his time working in the Wall Street law office. He quit his job, and then he relocated to France to complete an MBA.

Soon after her graduation in the year 1996, Beracha joined the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. It is Israel's biggest venture capital investment company. Pitango is a fund that invests in early stage companies, in the high-tech core industries. It has more than 200 investments and 85 exits. Rami was made managing partner in the year 2000. In the following 18 years, he led dozens of deals which resulted in successful exits to large corporations in the Fortune 500 like Broadcom, Marvel and Cisco.
It didn't end there. In 2011 Globes awarded Beracha the "Esteemed Partner" award, recognizing him as the influential investor that he had become. Rami started a new initiative known as Sosa in the year 2014. Sosa's innovation centers are situated in New York and Tel Aviv. They assist high-tech startups by partnering with entrepreneurs from around the world. Sosa was recently elected to manage and build the Cyber Center in New York City.

Beracha is planning to launch the creation of a Middle Eastern fund for venture capital. After the Abraham Accords that Israel and the United Arab Emirates recently signed and he is convinced that it's the right moment to make a bet on the Arab market. What better place for a start than the affluent and super modern Dubai? Ender Ventures, his latest fund is an idea that the founder has. It's going to be able to attract European and Israeli investors to support high-tech UAE businesses working on artificial intelligence, robotics, VR, etc. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its approach to business. Because of its low business tax, and extremely business-friendly legislation the UAE will probably attract many companies in the near future.

Even though it appears that Rami Beracha succeeds in everything that he has chosen to do, his life was not always easy. Beracha, just like many Israelis, entered the army as an untrained soldier. He served in the Paratrooper's Brigade as a combat soldier, and fought during the Lebanon War. In 1983, just following the end of the war, Rami was part of a rescue party sent to aid wounded soldiers who were trapped in a minefield. Rami was swept into a buried mine, and was unable to walk and his hand.

The time he spent in the hospital rehabilitation was one the most difficult of his entire life. He was unable to move and fell into despair and depression. He didn't realize what he really was and all his dreams of making progress in his army career were gone. Rami managed to overcome his suffering and find the motivation to live and chase new goals. Rami made a decision to live a life that was better and more fulfilling than before the injuries. Rami pushed himself to try different extreme sports. He now enjoys kitesurfing and snowboarding, and has gone up Mount Kilimanjaro. He is convinced that his unbeatable self from his past is pushing him forward , as he tries to make improvements in himself.

Rami is a committed volunteer and a generous donor to numerous charitable organizations. He also loves helping soldiers in need who have been wounded during combat. Rami was the leader of an army unit that assisted injured soldiers on a 2016 trip to Nepal. He was promoted to the rank of major in the Israeli paratrooper/fire brigades in the year. As a young man were able to occur, despite all of the difficulties he encountered. His story and the passion he has for it is a source of inspiration to many. Rami did not let her injuries hold her back. He continued to try new techniques, learning, and growing until he was stronger than before.
